annually awards $1,000 scholarships to 25 graduating high school seniors in Florida who demonstrate excellence in one of the following art formsin creative writing,dance,drama,music,visual art

The 2018-19 application period deadline is February 4, 2019.


High school students who are graduating from a public, private, or virtual school or a home education program in Florida during the current academic year.

BigSun Scholarship
The BigSun Organization is proud to be able to continue to help young athletes succeed in their academic pursuits. We are offering an annual scholarship to a deserving student. All student athletes are eligible for this award, regardless of which sport they are participating in.  Their participation may be in any capacity, whether as a player, coach or official.
 Deadline        -  June 19, 2019   
Amount of Award  -        $500.00
 The successful applicant will be a high school senior or be attending a post secondary institute and currently involved in some sport at that institution or in the community..

Selection Criteria: Demonstrate financial need, list of community service hours, personal statement between 500-700 words.

 Nat Moore Vocational Grant Endowment

Requirements: Graduating high school senior, demonstrate financial need

Minimum GPA: 2.5

Selection Criteria: The Nat Moore Vocational Grant Endowment will provide grants to graduating seniors from high schools in Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach and Monroe Counties. Students must apply to a vocational/trade program in South Florida. The preferred vocational/trade programs are Construction, Hospitality, Information Technology, Public Service, EMT and Fire Rescue.
